My name is Karla but many people in my life know me as ‘Shorty’ or ‘K-kar’. I am a single mother of three beautiful children. I joke that I’m a medicated cat lady. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult so it’s hilarious. I’ve got a few cats and two dogs.
I graduated from Grand Canyon University with my Masters of Science in Psychology with an Emphasis of General Psych. I currently work at a family owned accounting firm with some of the most important people in my life.
I live in Nebraska. I’d love to say it’s beautiful here but only a couple months of the year does that seem to be true. Life hasn’t been nice to me and I’ve been through a lot. I’m a survivor of many things. This is where I will share my stories.
My purpose of this is to let others know they aren’t alone. No matter what someone is going through, there is always help. Never be afraid to reach out to someone. Always know you are stronger than you think you are.
